This one features lifestyle guru Danny Seo and former model, actress and founder of Weelicious Catherine McCord. We shot this in Los Angeles in Catherine’s kitchen after strolling the Hollywood farmers market for a few hours one morning.
CASE STUDY:
Nitro Snowboards sent me around the world to photograph lifestyle and product images intended as creative content for social media and catalog use. We shot in Santa Barbara, Vancouver, Whistler and Tofino B.C., Annecy in France, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Death Valley. Sort of a dream scenario. Go on a fun trip and produce content.
All these shoots were produced like traditional catalog shoots but with a much looser format that fit the brand’s vibe. All the content produced during these shoots was spontaneous, guerilla style and fun. It created a look of real moments, nothing too staged.
We mainly produced still photography content and it was featured on Nitro’s and Nitro Bag’s social channels, mostly Instagram as well as in catalogs, banners and other advertisement.
All these shoots were designed as library shoots. We shot for 4-5 days and created a large library of images that could be used for social media. From that library a selection was made for catalog use, advertisement, banners, etc. The image library then was used to tap into when content was needed for social posts, stories or features.
The loose format of production really allowed to get genuine content with great variety. From outdoor imagery to urban scenarios and product imagery with a lifestyle touch we covered a lot in just a few days.
